Faster Britain full fibre futureproofs Enfield businesses

More than 6,500 businesses across Enfield will soon be able to access ultrafast full fibre connectivity as ITS Technology Group’s transformational Faster Britain infrastructure nears completion.

With less than 5% of the area able to access true full fibre, there is pent up demand from local business for faster, more reliable internet services. The Faster Britain network will deliver this change. Spanning from the north at Waltham Cross, where Essex, Hertfordshire and Greater London meet, the core fibre spine follows a route through to South Tottenham, past the Tottenham Hotspur football stadium, and Enfield town centre. It reaches the industrial areas to the east, and west to Cockfosters at the end of the Piccadilly Line.

I am very proud that our Faster Britain infrastructure is providing much needed full fibre access across the capital, and that businesses in Enfield are now able to benefit from this. Many businesses, even those with superfast, still rely on the aged copper telephone lines which reach end of life at the close of 2025. A Faster Britain connection is fibre from start to finish which is why it is fast, reliable and robust.

Enfield’s Faster Britain network will have been built in less than five months thanks to our ‘dig once’ approach. As our engineering teams reuse existing ducts to lay the fibre optic cables, we lower the environmental impact and disruption to local communities during construction.

Faster Britain offers complete flexibility as the same physical connection can scale from a basic broadband service through to a 10Gbps connection.ITS has made it easy for businesses to access these services via its extensive Faster Britain partner relationships. This offers a huge choice of high quality products and packages including the services that ‘run over the top’ such as hosted voice and other cloud services.

The launch of this network is the latest in the operator’s drive to expand its footprint across the capital. To find out more, businesses are being invited to register their interest at fasterbritain.hexagondigital.design/enfield
