Trafford Park, Wilmslow, and Handforth are the latest areas across the North West to benefit from ITS Technology Group’s multi-million pound Faster Britain full fibre rollout.
ITS’ Faster Britain networks have already reached many parts of Lancashire and Greater Manchester. The wholesale provider is also delivering the flagship LCR Connect digital infrastructure with JV partners Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, and French civils firm NGE, building 212km of core full fibre across the city region.

Many businesses, even those with superfast services, still rely on the aged copper telephone lines which will reach their end of life at the close of 2025. A Faster Britain connection is fibre from start to finish which is why it is fast, reliable, and futureproof.
The entire build has benefited from our ‘dig once’ approach to reuse existing ducts as we install the full fibre cables. It means we can install businesses faster than the industry norm, and we also minimise the environmental impact and disruption to local communities that is normally associated with a construction project of this scale

The arrival of Faster Britain means that more than 3,000 businesses across Trafford Park, Wilmslow, and Handforth can now access an alternative network which offers a choice of competitively priced Gigabit capable services.
Once installed, the same physical Faster Britain connection can take a customer from a basic broadband service through to a 10Gbps Ethernet leased line, offering complete flexibility that can grow as required. A huge range of IT, telephony, cloud, business broadband and connectivity solutions via ITS’ extensive partner community can be accessed through the Faster Britain programme.
Having recently secured a further £100m from Aviva Investors to accelerate its rollout, ITS’ Faster Britain will reach 50% of business and commercial premises in a number of major towns and cities across the North West, and is on track to pass 25% of UK business premises by the end of the year (data source: Ordinance Survey OS Open UPRN data set).
